A wreath made entirely from paper hearts is a cheerful, lightweight decoration that hangs on a door or wall — a perfect Mother's Day gift. Children cut and curl dozens of paper hearts, then arrange them in a circular wreath form, producing something that genuinely looks charming displayed in a home.
Step 1: Cut hearts. Cut many hearts in varied sizes from colored paper — at least 30 for a full wreath.
Step 2: Curl some hearts. Wrap some hearts around a pencil for a 3D curled effect.
Step 3: Arrange on the wreath. Glue hearts all around the wreath base, overlapping and layering, mixing flat and curled hearts.
Step 4: Fill completely. Cover the entire base so no cardboard shows.
Step 5: Add a ribbon. Tie ribbon at the top for hanging.
Circular composition — Arranging elements in a ring develops understanding of circular design.
Texture variety — Mixing flat and curled elements creates visual depth.
Gifting with purpose — Making a home decoration for someone builds domestic care.
A full, lush wreath requires more hearts than children expect — double what you think you need. The more densely packed the hearts, the more impressive the result.
